Park Volunteers

El Paso County Parks and Leisure Services is always looking for volunteer assistance in maintaining County parks.  Our organization has agreed to help in several ways.  We have participated in the Adopt-A-Park/Adopt-A-Trail Program for a number of years.  This involves picking up trash in BF Section 16 and the BF Regional Park as well as controlling noxious weed in those and other areas within the Black Forest.

Participants in these programs must have a signed "No Compensation Acknowledgement" form on file with the Parks Department.  If you are interested, please print and complete the No Comp form and mail it to 5150 High Meadows Ln. 80908.  Following your work please let Hank Hoover 495-2945 know how many hours were donated.  The Parks Department gets credit for volunteer work with the Federal

Additionally, all participants in BFTA events must sign a Release of Liability.
