Council voted 6-3 in favor of purchasing the Anderson parcel!
The item will go before Council again for a second hearing in about two
weeks and then (if all goes well, which it should) a closing date will be
set.
This new parcel will one day allow a northeast access to Corral Bluffs
that's much closer to Falcon. It will give easy access to the rim and allow
for an uninterrupted rim trail. |

Monthly meetings are over and the community is now being
solicited for input at three open houses hosted by the County Parks
Department. The first of these occurred 8/20 at the BF Community Hall.
The next will be held 9/16 at the Lodge in Cathedral Pines and your final
opportunity to view the proposed plan will be 10/21 at the BF
Community Hall. All meetings begin at 7:00 pm |
| BFTA Picnic |

 This
year's turnout for our second
annual BFTA picnic potluck in the Black Forest Regional Park was a bit
smaller than last year. We had the advantage of being entertained with
a dog agility trials that were being held in the playing field. Paul Douglass
again manned the grill and cooked hamburgers and hotdogs. The group lingered in the pleasant weather to enjoy visiting in
